Senior Sales Manager
 
Job Description:
 
The recently renovated 49 room Èlan Hotel, operated by Greystone Hotels, with sister hotels in San Diego, San Francisco and Palo Alto is seeking an enthusiastic, goal-orientated Senior Sales Manager to join the management team.

The Èlan Hotel’s address places it in a first-class location close to Beverly Center, Cedars Sinai Hospital, CBS Television City, Pacific Design Center and many corporate related businesses. The Senior Sales Manager position is perfectly suited towards a dynamic hospitality sales professional poised for success.
 
The position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in direct hotel sales encompassing all market segments. The position reports to the General Manager and Senior VP Sales & Marketing.
 
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
 
·         Aggressively pursue new accounts and negotiate corporate and group contracts to positively impact hotel budgeted revenues.
 
·         Maintain close relationships with existing clients, Corporate Travel Managers and Travel Agents.
 
·         Monitor production and trends within the hotels account base. Implement special promotions with the appropriate market segments.
 
·         Input with creating the annual sales budget and marketing plan and the administering of this plan for maximum financial success of the property.
 
·         Meet booking pace goals as approved by the Senior VP Sales and Marketing and General Manager.
 
·         Manage the annual and 30/60/90 day sales action plans.
 
·         Represent the hotel and Greystone Hotels on various sales missions, tradeshows and networking events as detailed in the annual travel plan.
 
Job Requirements:
 
·         Be self-motivated and goal-orientated.
 
·         Be a team player who demonstrates a high level of integrity.
 
·         Meet or exceed productivity standards.
 
·         Have excellent communication, negotiation and organization skills.
 
·         Have experience with computers.
 
·         Detail orientated with a commitment to producing accurate and quality work.
 
·         Must have current legal permission to work in the United States.

The position offers a competitive base salary, Sales Incentive Plan paid quarterly, after an initial 90 day qualifying period; free parking and dry-cleaning for work related garments; medical, dental & vision insurance available after 90 days; 401K plan available after 12 months.
